TrendForce Substack Paid Content Terms

1. Acceptance of Terms: Before confirming a subscription to the Paid Content Service provided by TrendForce Corp. (”TrendForce”) via the Substack platform (”the Service”), please read Substack’s Terms of Service and these Terms carefully. By subscribing to and accessing the Service, you indicate that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

2. Right to Modify Services: TrendForce reserves the right to modify or update the scope, content, or subscription plans of the Service at any time. Revised terms will take effect immediately upon publication on the Substack page or TrendForce’s official website. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

3. Billing, Auto-Renewal, and Refund Policy:

   • The Service is billed in advance on a recurring, auto-renewal basis. By confirming your subscription, you authorize payment processing via Substack and its payment facilitators (e.g., Stripe). You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Substack account settings. Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

   • All refund eligibility and processing are governed strictly in accordance with Substack’s Official Refund Policy. If you wish to request a refund, please submit your request directly through Substack’s support channels following their standard guidelines (e.g., within 7 days of payment).

4. In-App Purchases (IAP): If you subscribe to the Service through the Substack mobile application on iOS (Apple App Store) or Android (Google Play Store), all billing, payment processing, subscription management, and refund requests are governed exclusively by the terms and policies of Apple Inc. or Google LLC, respectively. TrendForce does not control and cannot directly process or issue refunds for transactions made via Apple or Google IAP channels.

5. Receipts and Invoicing: As the Service is transacted through the overseas platform Substack, payments are processed by Substack, Stripe, or mobile app stores. Upon successful payment, a digital purchase receipt will be automatically generated and emailed to your registered address by Substack or the respective app store. Local Taiwan uniform e-invoices will not be separately issued.

6. Intellectual Property and Usage Restrictions: All content, data, and materials provided through the Service are the exclusive intellectual property of TrendForce and are intended solely for the personal use of the individual subscriber. Redistribution, reproduction, retransmission, or electronic dissemination (via email, social media, or other channels) without TrendForce’s prior written consent is strictly prohibited. Unlawful distribution may result in immediate termination of access and legal action.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: These Terms, as well as any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of China (Taiwan), without regard to its conflict of law principles. Both parties agree that the Taiwan Taipei District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for any legal proceedings or litigation.
